The Three Top Kitchen Products That Will Make Your Life Easier

I am a huge foodie, but with work, social life, and everything in between, it’s hard to find time to make the food I really want at home. I can’t tell you how many times I reach for the boxed mac and cheese, wishing I could make homemade mac and cheese with little effort. But then magic happened, and I was introduced to the three products that have changed my amateur chef life forever.

KitchenAid - Classic Stand Mixer - Silver

$18.86/week

I’ve never been much of a baker, but this mixer changed the game. It has become my extra set of hands. I can throw my ingredients in the mixer, turn it on (and not worry about making a mess because the bowl is so deep), walk away, and come back with my mix ready for its next step. It has become the ultimate time-saver. I can use the flat beater for cookie and cake batters, but I can even use it for shredding meats–– which is perfect, because I am obsessed with buffalo chicken dip. But wait, it gets even better. The mixer also comes with a whisk, which I’ve found is incredible for

making omelettes. I can whisk the eggs, add in my veggies and meats, and I’m good to go. Then (oh, yes, there is more), there’s the dough hook. I have said goodbye to takeout pizza. I can actually make my own pizza at home now, and it’s better than any takeout pizza I’ve ever gotten.

This appliance has saved me so much money, and made my cooking so much more efficient. My Sundays spent meal prepping take two hours instead of six. I can’t believe I ever lived in a world without a KitchenAid mixer.

Instant Pot - 6qt Pressure Cooker - Silver

$10.88/week

If you’ve never heard of the Instant Pot, it’s like the Crock-Pot (x100). This appliance does it all, and it really has made a difference in my life. I can cook frozen chicken in minutes, make soups, bake a cake, steam veggies, pressure cook, even make yogurt–– all in this one pot. Remember that boxed mac and cheese I talked about? I have made homemade mac and cheese in the same amount of time it takes me to make boxed mac and cheese with the Instant Pot. What I really love about this version of the Instant Pot is that it connects to your WiFi, so you can keep an eye on what you’re cooking while you’re out of the house. Even better? Easy cleanup because all it contains is one pot.

Stressful days are less stressful with the Instant Pot. I throw my ingredients in, turn the Instant Pot on, go to work, and come back home to a ready-made meal. And, honestly, I could probably live off of this kitchen appliance alone.

NutriBullet - 5-Speed Blender - Dark Gray

$10.16/week

I’m always running late, and because of that, breakfast is sometimes sacrificed. I’m so excited to say that I eat breakfast every day now. Smoothies are my addiction, and this NutriBullet can craft them in seconds, even with tougher fruits and veggies. I love that with the handle-attached blending cups, I can toss in my ingredients, pop it on the blender, blend, and take the entire cup with me. That is a no-clean-up situation until I am done drinking my smoothie. The other thing I love to do is roast a bunch of veggies, blend them, and I’m set with soup for all my lunches for the week. I’ve made sauces, nut butters, and salsas, all in this one blender. It is the blender I have always dreamed of.

As you’ve probably guessed, I’m now the queen of cooking (and baking) now. My meals have gone from microwave ramen to chicken piccata over risotto. I have zero urge to go out to lunch during the workday because the meals I’m making are so delicious. I can’t believe the amount of money I have saved in the process. KitchenAid, Instant Pot, NutriBullet: I don’t know how I’ve survived my entire life without you all.
